1.1     The Melafoam^® insulation product supplied by DXM Inc. is a lightweight, porous foam insulation product supplied in slab or segment format, having thermal, acoustic and fire resistance properties, suited for residential housing and commercial buildings.

1.2      The foam slab can be printed on one side or have a decorative laminated film adhered when used in an interior environment to provide an aesthetically attractive finish.

1.3   The product is available on request in many sizes and shapes to suit the end-use. Melafoam^® can be made waterproof, can be die-cut and made into special shapes using CNC.

1.4   Installation of the Melafoam^® insulation product shall only be undertaken by experienced tradespersons or an LBP, who are familiar with this technical and installation manual together with the onsite checklist requirements.
