The Alpine Stone and Authentic Stone Veneer Cladding Systems are stone veneer systems suitable for residential and light commercial use.

1.1      The Alpine Stone and Authentic Stone veneer cladding systems use a fibre-cement board as the cladding substrate onto which are adhered manufactured and imported stone veneers including inter-locking corner pieces, to provide an attractive stone finish for application to residential and light commercial buildings. Alpine Stone and Authentic Stone is either manufactured  or imported stone and masonry products.

1.2      The Alpine Stone and Authentic Stone veneer cladding systems utilise manufactured and imported stone veneer ranging in weight from 50kg/m² to 70kg/m² with an average thickness of 50mm.

NOTE: The Alpine Stone and Authentic Stone Veneer Cladding Systems have been assessed in accordance with the MBIE Guidelines as an ‘alternative solution’ in terms of demonstrating compliance with the provisions of the NZBC.
