The People

BEAL’s principal building scientist is Mr. Colin Prouse who has over 40 years of experience in the building industry, the last twenty being with evaluating and certifying building products and systems. He can be contacted at colin@beal.co.nz

With a chemistry qualification, he has experience in laboratory management, materials research, plus experience with a wide range of analytical equipment.

Colin also has experience with the development of relational data-bases,  having developed a ‘planned maintenance application’ for large building sites, such as hospitals, universities and the like.

Finally, Colin has worked on multiple building sites carrying out new building work, restoration of historic buildings, as well as the survey and repair of countless commercial and residential buildings having weathertight issues.
