The Australian Building Code

The Building Code of Australia (Parts 1 & 2) differs from the New Zealand Building Code. The New Zealand Building Code is based on the use of three "levels" of requirements; the first being the overall objective, the second being the 'functional' requirement, and the the third being a list of specific 'performance' requirements.

The Building Code of Australia somewhat less clear as to what the specific performance requirements are, comparitively.
