Staff Details

BEAL's principal building scientist is Mr. Colin Prouse NZCsc (Chem.) who has over twenty years of experience in the building industry, the last six being with BEAL, evaluating building products and systems.

With a chemistry qualification he has experience in laboratory management and industrial research projects.

He also has considerable experience with the (planned) maintenance of commercial and residential buildings. He is an expert in the application of most types of coatings.
While providing assessment and testing services, he has assisted in research and development for clients who needed assistance with development and marketing of new building products.

BEAL's building technician is Mr Tom Wild who completed a BArch. (Hons) at Victoria University and becoming a specialist in weathertightness. Use is also made of his graphic skills to help those clients who need to provide accurate details of their systems.

BEAL also employ part time staff for special projects, testing work and peer review work to provide assessments and appraisals in a timely manner.
