In order to manage the many documents and procedures used by BEAL, use is made of the ISO 9001 standard for quality mangement.

Use of Guide 65 for managing the CodeMark scheme

Guide 65 was written by the Internation Standards Organisation (ISO) for the establishment of a standard for use by 'product certifying bodies'

The CodeMark scheme rules that comply with the requirements of Guide 65 are managed by JAS-ANZ based in Canberra. The CodeMark version of Guide 65 and accompanying rules sets out the requirements of a building product certifying body working within the CodeMark scheme operated in Australia and New Zealand. BEAL Certifying Service is required to comply with these requirements.
